What is the Acceptable Use of Information Systems?

Use of your ECU Computing Accounts is governed by our Aceptable use of Information Systems policy. Some key points you should keep in mind is that you should not allow another person to use your accounts, and ensuring that you are not misusing any services or systems which you are granted access to.

You will be required to read and accept these conditions during the activation process before your accounts are created and are made available for your use. Please take time to read up on the rules and regulations governing use of computing services at ECU here:

I am using the correct username and password but I can't login/can't access specific information, what is happening?

There are a number of reasons why this could occur. First and foremost, your accounts will only remain active as long as you are an actively enrolled student without any encumbrances on your enrolment. If there is an encumbrance, this could either stop you accessing specific parts of SIMO/MyLogin or may block access altogether.

To check your current enrolment status, simply login to SIMO and click on the Courses link. If your enrolment is showing a status code other than Enrolled, please make contact with Student Central for assistance.
